Installation by Michelle Vine, with soundscape composed by Luke Jaaniste
A one week pop up annexe to the exhibition ‘Touch Lab’
23 – 28 September 2019
Glass Box Gallery, Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, Southbank, Brisbane QLD Australia.
After a last minute invitation to exhibit, Vine transformed the former cashiers office, now pop up gallery, into a sanctuary for rest and relaxation among the chaos of final assessment week at Griffith University’s South Bank campus. For one week students could relax and nap in this little space outside the entrance to the Library. The artist was in residence during this time in the Grey Street gallery for Touch Lab, preferring to give visitors their privacy in the space. The artist left a visitors book inviting feedback from those who used the space.
